Hello !

To create a child to an object you should select the object in the left pane and then middle-click on the leaf (the left part) of the object you want to create it as a child of.

Does this work ?

It should.

Ahhh, stupid mistake!

I didn´t understand that I had to click on the leaf. Only tried on the text.

Middle-clicking in the right place (the leaf) works perfectly!

Thanks a lot!

Hi again!

Now I have created a simple $ClassDef object named MyFo with one $Input, one $Intern and one $Output object in the Class Editor. Used the Configure->Fo function to setup the $ClassDef object. Have also set the TypeRef to pwrs:Type-$Float32 for the signals.

Now I´m trying to write some PLC code for the object but I can´t find the defined signals from within the PLC editor.

There is a Template object with the signals inside in the Class Editor but how can I connect my coding objects to those?

When you connect a Get/Set/Sto object in the plc editor you select the attribute you want to connect in the template object in the classeditor. You don't have to find it anywhere in the plc editor. Then you Ctrl/Doubleclick on the on the Get/Set/Sto object.

Aha!

Didn´t realise that I could go to the Class Editor window.

During \"normal\" PLC programming in Proview the signals are displayed in the upper right box in the window when I click the \"Show Plant Hierarchy\" icon. Only tried to find them that way.

Thanks!
