Hello.
Thanks to Claes, I was able to start the project. It works fine for over a year. It consists of a processing station on raspberry pi, attached to it is 12 modbus modules.
Now I wanted to broaden my knowledge and build a new, more advanced project.
PLAN
1 - ubuntu development server 16.04 64bit
2 process station raspberry pi 3
3- storage ubuntu 16.04 64bit
4 operator as client through browser

I do not understand where in the project put a storage server instance and where to add the ability to view historical data from analog inputs.

It would help the outline of the project.
If someone can send me a screenshot of a visible data server, I will be very grateful.

Regards

Hi Gierula,

There is an example av a storage server configuration in Designer's Guide chapter 13.3.
First you register a root volume in the global volume list, then you create a SevNodeConfig object under the BusConfig object in the directory volume and specify the root volume in the Volume attribute.

All nodes in the project will be able to fetch history curves from the server. Also nodes from other projecs with QCom links to the storage server will be able to store and fetch data. The QCom links to external nodes are configured with FriendNodeConfig objects.
