TOPIC: 5 Position Switch

5 Position Switch 5 years 8 months ago #9752

Hello All!

I've put together a 5 position switch, which I've implemented using a grafcet.

I decided to revise the size/location of the subgraph, and now when I click the switch, it moves (jumps) it's position after the first click?
If anyone knows how to resolve this, I would appreciate it.

To be clear, I moved the objects on each page from the center of the GE to a position as close to 0,0 as I could get. I rebuilt the subgraph, and then now it jumps.

I will continue the files in the next entry...

More files...
Ugghh - svg still isn't an accepted file type in 2018? My heart hurts.
I added .txt to all files for the purposes of uploading, next time I'll just zip 'em up.

In any event, feel free to use the files for your use.

Thanks,
Matt

Hi Matt,

I downloaded the files and tested the subgraph and it works perfectly well for me.

When you change a subgraph you have to set it extern in the graphs where you are using it. This is done from File/Loaded Subgraphs in the Ge editor. Set all 5 pages to extern, save and open the graph again. Now set the pages to intern and save.

Yikes!
I tried to alter the value of "extern" to 1, and I was greeted with:
/usr/pwr55/os_linux/hw_x86_64/exp/exe/wb_open_db.sh: line 61: 3106 Segmentation fault (core dumped) wb -q "$username" "$password" $database

I'll try again...

Thanks,
Matt

P.S.
I know they're not great, but that switch is, of course, for use by anyone that wants to use it.

And, it seems persistent.

web_gtk crashed with SIGSEGV in AttrNav::set_attr_value()
Cannot access memory at address 0x48
Segfault happened at: 0x48: Cannot access memory at address 0x48
PC(0x0000048) not located in a known VMA region (needed executable region)!
