Hi Proview Experts,

I’m wondering whether (hopefully) a XttMultiview cell can be changed with the ‘set subwindow ...’
command or not?

The changelog (03-SEP-2013) states “Multiview command 'set subwindow on own graph bugfix“ but the Object Reference Manual states “Exchangable, a Ge graph can be exchanged with the 'set subwindow' command (NYI).”

I’v used a Button with the command:

set subwindow <Name of Multiview>/name=<Action[2].Name>/source=<Name of XttGraph>

Unfortunately it doesn’t work. I’m using Proview 5.5 and 5.6 (build from source).

Thanks in advance.

Hi FoxMan,

It should work. You have to set Action[2].Options.Exchangable to enable set 'set subwindow' command for the cell. The name of the multiview has to be the full name, eg

set subwindow Nodes-OpPlaces-Op-MView1 /name=c1 /source=mygraph

Great, it works as you said. The full name did the trick. Even $node works as expected.

Many thanks for your quick answer Claes!
