Hi,

I am a beginner on Proview.

Configuration: Debian9 on virtual machine + Proview V5.6

I have been starting my learning with some tutorials and now I create a user class to test this feature.
After class building I have the following error message when I open the project volume:

Global class volume "CVolmyproject" does not exist in data base "volmyproject"

With this kind of problem it's impossible to use the created class in plc program.

To solve this problem I have to copy manualy the file myproject/bld/common/load/CVolmyproject.dbs in myproject/src/db/volmyproject.db

Is it the right way or an automatic mechanism exist ?

Thanks

Thierry

Hi Thierry,

Every time you build the class volume you should enter the configurator for the root volume and activate Functions/Update Classes. This will copy the new dbs-file and also update all existing objects with modified classes. Note that you have to close and open the root volume configurator again if the configurator is already open when you build the class volume.

Update the classes in the root volume VolProject001 instead of in the Directory.
