Is there a list of character substitutions for the OPC Data Item parameter? For example if a TCP/IP address of 172.20.2.225 is needed, then $ is the substitution for . So the address becomes 172$20$2$225. Seems like there should be a substitution for - and maybe a couple others (like <>;:=)

The Data Item for this case is: ns=3;s=172.20.2.227->AdvOPCDAServer.OPCDAServer.1->16-FT-370.MEASURE
