Hi everybody,

I own in my laboratory some process pilots (distillation column, double jacketed reactor, reactor, etc.).

For the moment, I use arcinfo PCvue and inflink for the HMI (under Windows XP) driving via modbus rtu or modbus tcp Eurotherm field control stations for control loops (T640, T2500) configured on the excellent lintools object oriented software environment.

As I plan now to drive these pilots entirely via proview and to be efficient, I would like to have the summary of how to implement brand new objects in plc graphical editor because I need new correctors (RST, internal model) to add them to the classical PID object or at least how to create my own library by grouping existing objects (like in matlab simulink with the possibility of create a mask for the parameters).

I have read the (huge) doc of proview, but nowhere I saw summary on this topic.

Thank you for your help.

Bruno

Hi Bruno,

I think you should have a closer look at the ClassEditor chapter of Designer's Guide, and especially section 24.4.3.
