Have been spending some time now trying to install pwrrt to an ubuntu 10.10
think i have read that this was the only supported ubuntu for the new proview release but the (never ending issue) libc6 is not the right version. tried to force dependencies but i just ends up with a broken package

which ubuntu distro's are supported with the new 4.8.2-1 release?

The latest Proview version is built on Ubuntu 11.04, and there is also a version built on Ubuntu LTS (which is 10.4).
