Hello,

the walkthrough published in the Wiki is quite impressive - and a huge difference to the manual you can find here: www.proview.se/doc/en_us/man_rpi.pdf

The only obvious difference is, that the process described on the Wiki is, that a VM is used.

So - does the "official" manual work? Or is the way more complicated walkthough necessary to cross compile for the RPi(2)?

Thanks
Geno

Hi Geno

I believe the manual works for proview 5.1 on ubuntu 12.04 or debian I have not seen the one you are refering to in the wiki

I had success on compiling from source for both development station and the rpi and cross compiling against the rpi libraries. but this was on version 4.something

You 'll have to use the "arm-linux-gnueabihf-" toolchain to compile for he PI (and for the Graperain G4418 system on module). That's the reason I use Ubuntu for the PI because the toochain is there ready to install with apt. For the other board (Graperain G3288 based) I use Debian because of the need for "arm-linux-gnueabi-".
