Livero OFFLINE Fresh Boarder Posts: 7 Karma: 0	Hi all, I need to communicate with siemens system on profibus DP (slave or master). in documentation "Guide to I/O System" I found 2 solution based on PCI interface to profibus (Softing and Hischer). With your experience, what are advantages and disavantages for these both solutions ? thank you for your feedback. my configuration system : proview 5.2 on ubuntu 14.04 Livero

The interface to the Hilscher card was made as a thesis work many years ago but it's never been used in production and we have actually not tested it for many years. /Claes
