I've never had a problem installing Proview in Ubuntu. Wanted to try in Debian and I keep getting "unspecified transaction error has occurred. It says I have dependency that is not satisfiable.(libdb). I have 5.3.28-9 installed. I have tried in 32-bit and 64-bit versions of Debian. I user the pwr55.5.5.0-1_XXXX.deb package in the Debian 8 folder on sourceforge.

pwr55_5.5.0-1_i386.deb is built on Debian 8.2 with the following dependencies

libc6 (>= 2.19-18+deb8u1),
libgtk2.0-0 (>= 2.24.25-3),
libasound2 (>= 1.0.28-1),
libdb5.3 (>=5.3.28-9),
libdb5.3++ (>= 5.3.28-9),
libmysql++3 (>= 3.2.1+pristine-1),
libsqlite3-0 (>= 3.8.7.1-1+deb8u1),
librsvg2-2 (>= 2.40.5-1),
g++ (>= 4:4.9.2-2)

If you install with 'dpkg -i pwr55_5.5.0-1_i386.deb' and get a dependency error, 'apt-get install -f' will install any missing package and finish the installation.
