Hi all,

I am just thinking to setup an development environment by using eclipse for proview source. I think that is possible. If someone has the same idea, we can work together to implement this idea. Thanks!

This sounds like an interesting idea. I guess it is not a trivial task since the ProView development environment (pwre perl scripts) is far away from the Linux standard.
Did you get any results yet?

Hi Ondrej,

You are right, it is not simple. bash and perl script is one thing, the other thing is that java source code management. In the proview source code, java source directory is not match with the java package definition, which bring me some troubles.

So what I can do currently is using Eclipse to read the code and search for some functions. It would take a long time to port them to Eclipse. It is still an open issue for me.

Thanks!

Hongfu
