Looking in the file the nodes and identities are correct.
The new storage node is on the same machine so I've used the same ip address 127.0.0.1.

Presumably this is incorrect.

Yes, if you run the storage on the same machine you shouldn't configure a sev station, just add a SevServer object in the existing node.

Got there in the end.
I originally put a SevServer object in the existing node but couldn't make it work.
The error I had been making was in the the ServerNode object in the ServerThread.
I hadn't realised this was the Sim999 name of the NodeConfig object in the Directory
