Claes, I really appreciate your feedback. The example I put together was a snapshot of my understanding of the concepts in Proview after three days of exploration. I had a feeling I was on the right path. I can't think of a more encouraging response than \"quite close to how we use it\".

I can only agree with you regarding your remark about the use of components. That is crucial In order to take full advantage of any object oriented system.

It was also good to learn that scan time can be tweaked down to 100ns. 1ms is plenty fast enough in most situations.

Hello!
At first glance the ideology of Proview looks for me similar to DeltaV. DeltaV have much advantages but it is very expensive system as well as resource-intensive. So, I hope that Proview have a good perspective although there is still much work to improve the system.
