Hi Claes,
First, my best wishes 2022!
I have a problem to run a project after upgrade procedures from V5.5 (initial project release) to V5.8.
I follow all procedures to upgrade v5.5>v5.6>v5.7>v5.8.
Note: the project was working after v5.6, V5.7 upgrades, but not after v5.8 upgrade.

You can see on the joined files the step-by-step when I try to open project (AsuSimV1) on dev-env v5.8:
> pic1: open dev environment, see comments in xterm [...could not resolve environment variable...], valid licence,
> pic2: open project AsuSimV1,
> pic3: open VolProcess volume,
> pic4: make a built to test (result ok),
> pic5/pic6/pic7: start runtime,
> pic8: try to open operator environment, see comments in xterm [critical and error messages], the operator windows do not open

Other issue, when I open a graph, some time GE editor crashes.
Thanks a lot for your help.
/Ben

Hi Ben,

'can't resolve...' is just a misplaced warning message and doesn't indicate that something is wrong. It seems as is everything is starting fine except rt_xtt that for some reason tries to allocate an extremely large buffer in the x server. It's nothing that I've seen before. Is there any autostart of graphs configured in the OpPlace object? Are you starting rt_xtt with the operator window or with the navigator only? What happens if you only start the navigator without the operator window?

/Claes
