I have a backup but I just want to recover the plcprg program file to put it back.

Where is this file?

Thank you very much.

Hi Seb,

The plc programs consist of objects that are store among the other objects in the development database for the volume. The volume database is the files in the $pwrp_db/'volumename'.db directory. These files you can restore, but you have to restore the entire volume.

But there is another way. If you can find a dbs-file with the program in the backup, in a process node or in a distribution file (tgz), you can open this in the configurator and copy it back. The dbs-file is created on $pwrp_load when you build the volume and if you haven't built yet you might find the program in the current version. Find the proper dbs-file and open it from 'File/Open/Dbs File' in the rootvolume configurator. Select the PlcPgm and copy with 'Copy Keep References' or command 'copy /keepref' and paste it back.
