Hello Daniel,
If I'm not wrong, currently it is not but standard ethernet chipset will not be sufficient for EtherCat node anyway, so on which hardware do you plan to use it ? Do you have PC with native EtherCAT connectivity support ?

Personnally I will go soon for testing NetX chip or extension board (pci/ pciE) from Hilscher with a standard PC in order to test it but in that case the EtherCAT layer is transparent for Proview which just need to access the internal dual port memory zone so it is a not really a support but the final usage should work.

I don't know if a native support is forecasted soon but also the licencing should be an issue as EtherCat licencing is not compatible with GLPv2 as far as I'm aware

Hi :)

Im also interested in EtherCAT since we use it daily on my work for our control systems.
I did find this page, and what i can see its free of charge to implement the Ethercat master.
