What is the procedure for submitting patches?

I've cloned the github repository but it doesn't seem to tie in with the source code release package.
The last tag is 5.4.0-1
The commit log messages indicate that 5.7.1 was 13 months ago but I get the impression that release 5.7.1-1 was more recent.

Is 5.7.1-1 the HEAD of stable?

Should I ditch the source release packaget and develop against the github repo?

Thanks.

Hi Dave,

You can send diff or patch files to me.

V5.7.1 is somewhere in in the stable branch but the stable branch is ahead of V5.7.1.

You can continue with the source package as there is no difference in libnodave or the other io files.
