Hi everyone,

Does Proview provide direct support for serial I/O interfaces such as RS485 or RS232 without relying on Modbus RTU?

Hi Maveric,

There is a serial interface in remote that can send and receive messages to/from a serial port. See Designer's Guide and Object Reference Manual (RemnodeSerial).

Hi Claes,
I've read the docs... yet I still struggle to understand. Some examples would be very helpful. Please.

Hi Maveric,

Here is an example where a string in a SvLight, H25-Sv1send, is sent when the Dv H25-Send1 is set. Any recevied strings are put into the LightSv H25-Sv1rcv.
