Hi Claes

Could you generate a single patch related to rt_xtt_gkt including the following separated patches you already performed:
I am using Proview V5.0 on Ubuntu 12.04LTS (32bits)

Below are the issue you solved but in separated patch files
Hi,

I managed to reproduce the IO error on my home pc when running the intermedio graph with a scantime of 10 ms, although the effective scantime didn't seem to be more than 100-200 ms. When I got the IO error after 2-3 hours I noticed it was when drawing lines and arcs that where part of connections but actually not inside the current clip. So I optimized the connection drawing and this had a large impact on the performance. The scanning of the intermedio graph is much faster now, and is has been running for 16 hours without exception. Note that I haven't fixed any bug so it is possible that exception is just delayed, but it looks promising...

Here is the patch

http://www.proview.se/v1/files/tmp/pwr50_5.0.0_patch01_ubuntu12.04LTS.tar.gz

Unpack and copy rt_xtt_gtk to $pwr_exe.

/Claes

Thanks a lots Claes,

Another question, this time regarding with operator environment. Each time I selected an event and then push Event Logg button ( red triangle) in the Alarm List or Event List, the "rt_rtt" recived a Segmentation Fault. The only way that I can see EventLog is from the button located in the Operator Windows menu.

Any sugestion?

Eduardo

Hi Eduardo,

Here is a patch you can try.

http://www.proview.se/v1/files/tmp/pwr51_5.1.0_patch02_ubuntu12.04LTS.tar.gz

Unpack and copy rt_xtt_gtk to $pwr_exe. It's a 5.1 patch but I think it will work with 5.0 as well.

Hi Claes,

I found what I think is another bugs, it related when I select from the menu, Functions, Curves, Process History.
Each time I select this options I get a Seg. Fault. and the rt_xtt close.
I have configured many SevHist signals and the only way to view the histoy is through Alarm List or Event List selecting the History button in the Operator, the problem is when the signal is not in Alarm.

If this is a realy bug, could you add the solution of this to the previos patch (pwr51_5.1.0_patch03_ubuntu12.04LTS.tar.gz) files, in order not to loss the previos patches.?

I'm running V5.0, Ubuntu 12.04LTS, 32bits.
