Tried a fresh Debian 9, x86, pwr56 crashes directly by trying to add a new user to the user database.
64 bit Debian 9 seems to be stable.

There is a bug in pwrrpi56.
While trying to cross compile a project, a wrong path settings to /data0/... gives an error.
Trying to ebuild the package pwrrpi56 but not succesful yet...

I found this bug in 5.4, too, unresolved.

What version of Debian was 5.6.1-1 developed on? I've found that some of the new OS versions have caused reliability problems.
