Hello All,

I have finished with my Development station. Everything is running fine. I am trying to transfer to the Runtime station.
i installed the PWRRT package, on the new computer, no problem.

i made a pwrp_pkg_brewery2_0017.tgz to transfer to the new computer (no network connection between DEV and RUN computers)

I run-- pwr_pkg.sh -i '/home/pwrp/pwrp_pkg_brewery2_0017.tgz'

and get the following error messages

any ideas how to fix the runtime computer to make this work??

Hi Bill,

The node is configured with a NodeConfig object in the directory volume under a BusConfig object, and it seems that the qcom bus number is 1. Change 517 in /etc/proview.cnf on the process station to 1.

The host name, rrt-gb-bxbt-2807, should be configured in NodeConfig.NodeName in the directory volume. Seems to be brewery2 now.

There was some mismatch with the directores on 64-bit and it look as if /pwrp/x86_64_linux doesn't exist. If not, rename /pwrp/x86_linux to /pwrp/x86_64_linux.

Good to see you are still posting!
we would all be lost without you...

I did a fresh install of 14.04 renamed the computer " run " . then installed the 5.4 PWRRT
No problems.
Fixed the qCom, to 1, like you said
Also renamed the x86 folder.

I went into the development station and (attempted to) do you instructions. Not sure if i did them all correctly.
Below is a screenshot of my directory window.

Distributed the program "brewery2" to the node "run"
seemed to work fine.
took the .gtz file to the new workstation
the .gtz file installed no problem on my runtime station.

BUT
when i run pwr start
i get this error
the first part is the standard java message i always get, since i have no web interface.
the end error about the database is confusing me.
the database lock is not in the same place as on the development station.

any ideas? any help is always appreciated!

Hi Bill,

'pwr start' is a script that executes rt_ini and starts Proview runtime, so you should not execute rt_ini again. If you want to see the log messages, start with 'rt_ini -i' instead of 'pwr start'.

In your case now, you have to reset first and then start with log messages

> pwr kill
> rt_ini -i &

OK. I redid it with the pwr kill
and then
rt_ini -i &
the printout looks similar to the printout i get on the development station,
but nothing appears.
the GE graphics do not appear, etc
very strange.
any ideas?
