Hello All,

do some of you working with GE script ?
I used this feature since Proview 5.2 without any issue.
I switch to Proview 5.5 for a while now but I never tried back this wonderful feature.
I tried today but it appears that script is never launched (same beahavior as if the filename was wrong). Ge returns from command mode without any complain but nothing occurs.

I tried the same script in proview 5.6.1 and works fine as in was in Proview 5.2

Is there any restrictions in Proview 5.5 regarding scripting ? or any option to activate I could have forgotten to activate in my setup ?

Thank in advance
Snarf

Previous post 8361 response by Claes may be helpful? There was a GE script issue in version 5.4 and 5.5. A workaround is given. Glad to hear it works again in version 5.6.

Hi Ron and cees,

If you start Ge from a terminal window with 'wb_ge' it will work.

It's when Ge is started from the Configurator that there is a double definition of a function that will cause scripts to terminate.

Thanks a lot AutoMate for pointing to this link that I missed.
Indeed the mentioned workaround works well for Pwr55.
Thank you
